Telekom

Telekom is one of Hungary's largest telecommunications service providers and a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom. It offers a full range of telecommunications and ICT services to individuals and businesses. Their online platforms, Oneshop and Onecare, aim to provide a complete self-service purchasing experience, from the initial purchase through modifications to service management, ensuring seamless and efficient customer service. As a staff designer, I contributed to pushing their work and was involved in three major releases in 2024.

Challenge

At Telekom Hungary, I faced several challenges, including adapting to the unique operations and terminology of the telco sector, understanding Telekom's distinct workflow and interpretation of agile practices, and navigating large squads and organizational units with 5000+ employees.

Results

Since joining OneShop Telekom, I've facilitated smoother collaboration and more informed decision-making, contributing meaningfully to successful projects at Telekom Hungary. This includes reworking the loyalty system, implementing a coupon engine, and exploring a new design system for future redesign.
