Forbes has entered the web3 space by launching its first NFT collection, Legacy Pass. This collection grants exclusive membership rights to its owners and aims to expand the company's online presence. They needed a web3-related website to start collecting email audiences and making gamified experiences in 2023-2024.

Challenge

At a moment's notice, I was tasked with creating the initial version of the Forbes Legacy Pass website to support the launch of their communication campaign as soon as possible. I needed to rely on the Forbes brand and their mobile-first approach as a starting point and add new touches to highlight the web3 subbrand.

Results

Although I relied on Forbes' existing brand and UI guide for the website design, I also added new elements to create a web-based sub-brand for the web3 launch. The community was pleased with the changes, and within 72 hours, over 100,000 people subscribed to the Legacy Pass updateds.
