Flyplay Airlines

PLAY, an Icelandic low-cost airline, started offering intercontinental flights to the United States in 2022. However, their existing booking system needed to be improved for transatlantic flights, and hence, they needed a tailored and user-friendly solution in Q3 of 2021. My task as a UX designer was to create a seamless booking flow for the company.

Challenge

The challenge was  Laying the cornerstone of their new digital platform in under six months—from research to the MVP. To ensure FlyPlay's owners receive the best practices in the aviation industry, I conducted thorough competition and user research and presented my findings during workshops. Results

We designed and developed a custom booking flow that is worthy of the brand name and image of PLAY Airlines. Its playful elements and human-centered solutions stand out from the booking journeys people are usually accustomed to, making users feel more at ease during this sometimes stressful procedure.
